You make life easier for you to enjoy your cruise --

Credit Cards

A sturdy document holder to keep you organized

Travel InsuranceDocument

Health insurance cards

Emergency phone numbers of relatives at home

First-aid kit including band aids, aloe, antiseptic ointment, insect repellent, sunscreen, prescription drugs and some articles over the counter like aspirin would be advisable.

A waterproof holder for your car keys, waterproof camera and video camera forThis photo opportunities

Straw beach mats and beach bag

How many clothes do you need? Well, first, that will depend on the length of the cruise. For the typical 7 nights Caribbean cruise, you will usually need 2 sets of formal clothes if you plan to Dining in the formal dining area. The rest of the evening you can be casual with the business or resortwear. Do not forget to change shoes / bags and accessories you need as your personal toiletries. Swimsuits are essential, fitness wear, if you want that you take advantage of free gym on board most ships. Good walking shoes, sneakers, sandals and heels for the late-night clubs.

Well, if you are in Alaska you want to bring some other items, as if you are on a warm sunny island in the Caribbean. You want your layerClothing, as it can be quite cool cruise along the glacier. A waterproof jacket with zip out lining would be very nice to have on. Binoculars for whale and wildlife spotting. A good pair of walking shoes would be very helpful. Gloves, hat and rain are all essential for Alaska Cruises. Sweaters, shirts that can be overlaid and jeans and khaki's to take away. You still need the suntan lotion and some bug spray.

My best advice is to pack as lightly asCabin sizes possible, since not very responsive compared to a hotel room. But you have not been on a cruise to spend all your time in your cabin. Most cruise ships do not limit to the amount of luggage. The airlines still, but that many people drive in the ports, so that's why I mention this. However, since the cabin, where you will drop your equipment for your holiday, you must limit the unnecessary baggage and keep to be aacceptable minimum.
