A appreciative heritage

With 3,000 years of history at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, it's no wonder that Greece today offers the visitor an unparalleled array of cultural and archaeological gems. This country of vibrant cities and picturesque islands contains no fewer than 17 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. And although the more familiar ones, such as the Acropolis of Athens or Olympia, stem from the age of classical antiquity, the Sites as a whole range from prehistoric to much more modern times – and they reflect the wide spectrum of civilisations that have populated the country's shore

Take a Cruise Through Asia

When we think of taking a cruise, we usually think of the Caribbean or Europe. Now thanks to Royal Caribbean you can now experience Asia from a cruise ship. Royal Caribbean's Rhapsody of the Seas is home ported in Singapore. Rhapsody is a large ship – she can carry 2,400 passengers and stands 11 decks tall. In fact it's the largest cruise ship in Singapore, so large that it is too tall to dock at the Singapore Cruise Center.

A few of the stops that Rhapsody of the Seas will make include Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Japan, and South Korea. Taking a peek at the Royal Caribbean website shows a 12 night exotic Asia cruise out of the port of Hong Kong and going to:

Hanoi Halong Bay Vietnam

Hue Danang Vietnam

Nha Trang Vietnam

Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam

Bangkok Thailand

Sihanoukville Cambodia

Singapore

Now that's what I call exotic! A cruise like this is bound to be more expensive than your usual 5-7 day cruise, not to mention the airfare to get to Asia. A trip like this would be a once in a lifetime opportunity and a lifelong memory.

The next time you are looking to book a vacation or considering a cruise, take a look at what Asia has to offer.
